PSG progress in move for Zion Suzuki as Juventus fall behind in race

Serie A side Parma made a big sale in Giovanni Leoni last summer and they are now closing in on the exit for Zion Suzuki too.

The Japanese keeper has been linked with a host of clubs in recent weeks โ€“ including Premier League sides. Juventus have also been keen but it is Paris Saint-Germain who are making key progress in a deal.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Ligue 1 side have made an offer of โ‚ฌ28 million plus bonuses for the Japanโ€™s World Cup hero. Negotiations are now underway and important progress has already been made, placing PSG ahead of Juventus in the race.

The Parisiens have expressed a strong desire to conduct a deal, with work ongoing to finalise the agreement.

Big move for Suzuki and Parma

Suzuki has clearly improved at Parma in the last two seasons and the World Cup has only added to his charm. This is the sort of move which was probably destined for him, as Manchester United were interested in him many years ago during his teenage years. This is a due reward for his progress and consistent work in the last few campaigns.
