AS Roma have emerged as a potential destination for Christopher Nkunku, with the Frenchman’s future at Milan becoming increasingly uncertain in the final hours of the window.
According to MilanNews, the Giallorossi are showing concrete interest in the versatile attacker, joining Atletico Madrid in the race for his signature. Despite the mounting pressure from abroad and within Serie A, Nkunku is unsure about making a definitive decision regarding his exit at this stage.
However, the report highlights that the entire situation hinges on the movements of Jean-Philippe Mateta. With Milan pushing to finalize a deal for the Crystal Palace striker, Mateta’s arrival would significantly alter the dynamics of the Rossoneri attack. While Nkunku has not yet fully opened the door to a departure, he is not precluding any developments, and the successful landing of Mateta by Giorgio Furlani could be the catalyst that forces a move to either Rome or Madrid.
