Serie A side Roma have impressed in the league this season and many attacking players have thrived. This also includes summer signing Rodrigo Mora, who has one goal this season.
The Portugueseโs transfer to Roma took a while to go through but it was done late in the transfer window. It came as a big boost for Gian Piero Gasperiniโs side, who were desperate for attacking signings.
Mora already has one goal and is already looking like a suitable fit for the Italianโs system.
Gasperini spoke to the press ahead of Romaโs game against Torino and he had big praise for the Portuguese talent.
He said โ via Gazzetta dello Sport: โMora is also a young man with a lot of talent. He needs to be completed physically and tactically.โ
Gasperini also hailed how quickly Mora has adapted to life under his system.
โHeโs only recently arrived but what heโs shown from the start or during the match is the performance of a young man of great level.โ
Offering more praise, Gasperini made it clear Mora is one of the best talents in the game right now.
โI donโt think thereโs a young man in the world whoโs more capable of being a protagonist than him right now.โย
While not the quickest, Mora has shown that he is a very reliable technician. In the number ten role, he finds the right spaces and is very good at picking open defences.
Playing alongside Paulo Dybala will help him a lot, with Gasperiniโs system likely to make him a better player.
