Serie A side Roma have made multiple impressive moves this summer and they could be making another one in the form of Fenerbahce defender Jayden Oosterwolde.
The 25-year-old played 31 times in the Turkish top-flight last season, also featuring in the Europa League.
While reports in Turkey initially reported Roma’s interest, Alfredo Pedulla has added more information the deal. The defender is now edging ever closer to the joining the Giallorossi, who will make their initial offer for the Dutchman today.
This would be a €1 million loan, with an option to buy of between €15 and €16 million, which could become mandatory under certain conditions. The player is keen on heading to Gian Piero Gasperini’s side and is ready to reject other offers to join them. He has already rejected two offers in recent days to join other clubs, which shows his willingness to wait for Roma to find an agreement with Fenerbahce.
There is an agreement over personal terms already and the next step would be an agreement between the two clubs.
