Fiorentina are reportedly weighing up an ambitious move to bring Radu Drăgușin back to Serie A. According to a report by La Repubblica, relayed by LabaroViola, the Tottenham defender is keen on a return to Italy after finding playing time difficult to come by in London.
Notably, the Romanian international has emerged as the “big dream” for the Viola’s defensive department during this winter window. Indeed, Fabio Paratici, who knows the player well from their shared time at Juventus, is said to be playing a role in exploring the feasibility of the operation. Furthermore, while Fiorentina are monitoring alternatives such as Rodrigo Becão and Union Berlin’s Diogo Leite, Drăgușin remains the priority target to bolster the backline.
Consequently, the Tuscan club is currently evaluating the costs of the move, as the former Genoa man looks for a path back to a league where he previously excelled.
