West Ham enquire about Atalanta’s Nicola Zalewski

West Ham United have made a formal enquiry to Atalanta regarding the availability of Nicola Zalewski as the Premier League side looks to bolster its options in the final days of the market.

According to Sky Italia, while the Hammers have expressed interest in the versatile winger, there is no official offer currently on the table. The situation remains in the preliminary stages, and any potential deal will likely require a significant financial effort from the London club.

Atalanta’s stance is firm; having only signed the Polish international from Roma this past summer for a fee of €17m (£14.2m), the Bergamo-based club is expected to demand a substantial profit to sanction a mid-season departure. La Dea are not under pressure to sell and would only consider parting with the 24-year-old for an offer that reflects his current market value and importance to Raffaele Palladino’s squad.
