Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic are continuing negotiations over a contract renewal, though a significant gap remains between the clubโs offer and the playerโs demands.
According to Romeo Agresti, relayed by Calciomercato, the two parties have met twice recently to discuss the terms of a new deal. During the latest round of talks, Juventus made it clear that the striker would need to adhere to the clubโs new internal salary cap. The proposal on the table consists of a fixed wage of โฌ6m per season, supplemented by โฌ1m in performance-related bonuses.
While Vlahovic is considering the proposal, his entourage has introduced specific conditions for accepting a wage cut. The Serbian international has requested that his representatives be granted a significant commission as part of the agreement, alongside a substantial signing-on bonus for himself.
Despite the ongoing dialogue, there is still some distance to go before an signature is reached. Furthermore, securing qualification for the Champions League is viewed as a financial necessity for the club to finalize a deal of this magnitude.
