For many days, it felt like Serie A side Roma would seal a move for Porto talent Rodrigo Mora. A deal seemed on the verge of completion but it now stalling, which has led to Lyonโs Malick Fofana becoming a concrete option for the Giallorossi.

Fofana would cost โฌ40 million and this is a figure Roma can afford. Fofana has a lot of admirers across Europe and Italy, with Inter also among the list of suitors. But he remains high on the Roman clubโs shortlist โ higher than Ibrahim Mbaye and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
