Corriere dello Sport report that Napoli are keeping close tabs on Fiorentina youngster Federico Chiesa.
Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis even admitted on Monday at the Festival del Calcio in Florence on Monday, “I asked Della Valle about Chiesa 20 days ago.”
Fiorentina are holding off strong and are looking to extend the 19-year-old’s contract, which currently expires in 2021.
Napoli’s plan is to wait and be patient until the summer when they could offer La Viola up to €40 million for Chiesa.
