First reported by Globoesporte, Flamengo midfielder Lucas Paquetá looks set to join AC Milan in the upcoming January transfer window.
The 21-year-old Brazilian will reportedly join the Rossoneri for a fee around €35 million plus bonuses.
Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed the report, adding that while Paquetà’s release clause was €50 million, Leonardo used his great relationship with Flamengo to lower the cost, beating PSG in the negotiations.
Paquetá has earned two caps for the Brazilian national team and was selected as one of the twelve alternatives for the 2018 World Cup squad.
Milan are ready to add a young Brazilian midfielder to their squad during the winter.
