Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has officially been appointed as the new boss of Sampdoria.
The veteran has a wealth of experience in Serie A, having previously taken charge of the likes of Fiorentina, Juventus, Inter and AS Roma, the latter on two separate occasions.
This is the second time in two seasons that the 67-year-old has replaced Eusebio Di Francesco, having also taken temporary charge of Roma last term.
Ranieri has signed a deal until 2021, according to the club’s official website.
