Serie A issue Atalanta penalty for racist chants

Serie A have confirmed that they have fined Atalanta €10,000 after racist chanting was directed towards Fiorentina full-back Dalbert on September 22nd.

The news came as the Lega Serie A issued its official disciplinary report. While no action was taken over recent instances of video evidence of racism in the stands, it is worth noting that in the same report, AS Roma were fined €15,000 as a member of their fitness staff sarcastically applauded a referee.
