La Repubblica and Sportmediaset report today that the swap deal which will see Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanić switch clubs is at its closing stages, with both players expected to undergo medicals over the weekend.
The Brazilian’s medical should take place on Sunday morning, whilst Pjanić is expected to undergo his today, having flown out to Catalonia after taking part in Juventus’ 4-0 win over Lecce. The deals will be completed within June 30, so as to improve either teams’ balance sheet before the FFP deadline, but neither player will appear or be registered for their new club before the start of next season.
