Atalanta have made official this afternoon the permanent signing of midfielder Mario Pašalić. The Croatian had initially joined on loan from Chelsea at the start of the 2018/19 season, having never appeared for the London club since joining in 2014 from Hajduk Split. Having played a key role in Atalanta’s recent successes, manager Gasperini was keen to keep hold of the 25-year-old beyond this season.
