As rumours of a potential move to Manchester United or Inter continue to gather pace, Barcelona Coach Ernesto Valverde insists he is still relying on Arturo Vidal to deliver for the Catalan side.
“I’ve talked to Arturo Vidal like I have the others,” Valverde said at a press conference ahead of Thursday’s Super Cup encounter with Atletico Madrid in Saudi Arabia. “He’s here. For now I’m counting on him and I’m not thinking about the future.
“We’ll see what happens, but I’m not thinking about his departure. He’ll be on the pitch or on the bench tomorrow.”
