In an interview published in today’s Corriere dello Sport, Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini discussed the prospect of returning to play with the Covid-19 pandemic waning and the upcoming title race against Lazio and Inter.
“It seemed impossible at 6-700 deaths per day that we would start again, but from May 18 when Italy was reopened I didn’t have any doubts on it. The quarantine period should be cut, because realistically the positive case can be kept away, and the illness is evolving positively.”
“We shouldn’t disregard Inter, nine points aren’t that much in a mini league and if they beat Sampdoria it’ll only be 6 points. Lazio attack so beautifully. Luis Alberto, Milinković [sic] and Immobile are poetry.”
