Italian Minister of Sport Spadafora on whether Serie A will be fully played out this season: “I’m not sure.”

Speaking on talk-show L’aria che tira, Italian Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora – his words transcribed in Il Messaggero – expressed his uncertainty over whether the current Serie A season could be fully played out, despite the current Covid-19 protocol in place for the campaign.

“Can Serie A reach its finish line? Yes, but can it get there fully played out – I’m not sure. I think the Lega is aware of this, and it should prepare a Plan B and C.”

“My position is that of the protocol, which works if it is respected. We could also put one in place that’s more rigid, but if no one will follow it…”
