Ligue 1 side Rennes have made an enquiry over the availability of Diego Godín, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The French club has initiated contacts with both Inter and the player.
The news was first broken earlier today by French outlet le10sport, reporting that Rennes are weighing up the possibility of a transfer, but that any deal would be financially difficult for the Brittany club.
