Milan president Scaroni on Gazidis’ manager search : “I don’t even know when he’s talking to other potential candidates. I just let him do his job.”

Speaking to Rai Radio 1, Milan club president Paolo Scaroni discussed the potential arrival of manager Ralf Rangnick, insisting that CEO Ivan Gazidis would ultimately be the one to take the decision.

“I’m not sure if he’ll come. We have faith in Pioli, who is doing a good job and is a serious professional. These management choice are made by Gazidis, I don’t even know when he’s talking to other potential candidates. I just let him do his job. Pioli and Maldini have our confidence right now.”

“This year we’ve made a great effort to reduce costs, and we will carry on hts work which involves signing young players at reasonable costs, respecting Financial Fair Play – we’ve already been hit by that stick before. These are situations which lead you to have medium-to-long term  goals – Milan has already gone through a long period of crisis, and it seems utopian to me to hope for a sudden revival.”
