Gianluca di Marzio reports that Spanish side Valencia have in recent hours made advances in their efforts to sign 28-year-old winger Alessandro Florenzi from AS Roma.
The player and the Serie A club would prefer a permanent deal, whilst VCF are seeking a loan with an option to buy. It feels like a compromise could met if the option in a loan arrangement turned into an obligation with a series of easily met objectives.
The player’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, has continued to negotiate with all relevant parties this morning.
