Arsenal man prefers Italy move despite Germany interest

Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira prefers a move to Italy despite Eintracht Frankfurt’s move for the Uruguayan.

Sky Italia have stated today that Frankfurt are pushing to sign the midfielder this summer and have made their first official offer for the player. Regardless of that, the ex-Sampdoria man wants to move to Italy only, with Fiorentina and Lazio interested in him.

It has been reported elsewhere that Jose Mourinho wants to sign the South American and it was previously stated that he was offered to the Roman clubs by Arsenal, with the player keen to leave the club.

The midfielder had joined Arsenal from Sampdoria but he ended up falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.
