Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has provided some fitness updates about the club ahead of the Champions League game against Manchester United.
Gasperini spoke at the press conference ahead of the game and stated: “Palomino and Demiral have no problems. Djimsiti has trained with the group and his situation has improved, but his arm is still not moving with ease. Tomorrow will be too early for him.
“Toloi will return after the international break and Pessina is close to returning but I don’t know if we will risk him for Cagliari. Gosens is doing well.”
Atalanta lost at Old Trafford two weeks ago, even though they were 2-0 up at halftime. La Dea have picked up four points from three games so far, with United currently at the top.
