Chelsea star ‘resisting’ Roma move, Lacazette emerges as new option

Chelsea star Tammy Abraham is said to be resisting a move to Roma so far and as a result, Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette has emerged as an option.

This comes from today’s Corriere della Sera, who claim that Tiago Pinto had flown to London to convince Abraham’s agents of a move. He had even attended Chelsea’s Super Cup final against Villarreal. Roma have now changed their offer to Chelsea, having offered to signed him permanently after a two-year loan.

But all of Pinto’s efforts have been useless as Abraham is ‘resisting’ the move. Because of that, another hypothesis has taken shape. It involves Roma potentially moving for Lacazette, whose contract at Arsenal ends in a season.

The Frenchman could cost half as much as Abraham and he’s also earning €3.5 million right now, which is quite less than what the Giallorossi have offered to the Englishman. Roma feel that this could be a much more feasible option.
