Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso has stated that he doesn’t believe that Dusan Vlahovic is leaving this summer and he’s being handed the richest contract in La Viola history.
Commisso was chatting with TGR Rai Toscana recently and he was asked about the situation of Vlahovic at the club. He made it clear that there’s no real price tag on the Serbian and if he wants to leave next season, the club will think about it.
He said: “Why does everyone who comes to me ask me the question about Vlahovic? They want to know whether to take him on fantasy football. I don’t put him on sale. The right offer has not arrived, and although I do not think he will leave, we plan to give him a contract, the richest in the history of Fiorentina
“I’m happy for him because they are really important figures. And if he wants to leave next year, we’ll talk about it. He has to understand that if he gets that much money, he owes it to his team. There are teams interested in him, but I have not set prices. I want him to stay another year.”
Manchester City are now said to be interested in the striker, apart from Tottenham. Atletico Madrid have had offers rebuffed too.
