Inter have now initiated contact with Marcelo Brozovic’s father and they’re gaining confidence about a renewal for the Croatian midfielder.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that while Inter are still not looking to go beyond the €4 million per season mark and Brozovic’s entourage demands €6 million, the appointment between the two parties has been set for next week.
Brozovic’s father has been contacted by Inter, who now know the terms of a renewal. There is a gap to be bridged between the two parties but Inter remain confident that they won’t lose the player on a free transfer.
Inter know that they can’t afford to lose him as he’s a key part of the side under Simone Inzaghi. Progress is expected to be made.
