Inter are already scrambling around for a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez, as Arsenal’s interest is now hotting up.
Sky Sport Italia have reported about the situation of Martinez, claiming that Inter are now facing difficulties in handing Martinez a new deal and renewal talks haven’t taken off. These difficulties could yet lead to Martinez’s farewell this summer and since his contract runs out in the summer of 2023, the Nerazzurri could sell him this summer to get a maximum possible fee.
The outlet claims that while Arsenal haven’t made an offer, they have only made an enquiry about the striker this summer.
As a potential replacement, Inter are eyeing Joaquin Correa as a replacement. Simone Inzaghi has worked with him at Lazio and has a liking for Martinez’s compatriot. The ex-Sevilla man is expected to leave Lazio this summer and Inter are now keeping a watch on his situation at the Biancocelesti.
