The agent of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has stated that parties have been discussing terms over a new deal and there is confidence that an agreement will be reached.
Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli and he spoke about his Argentine client’s potential renewal at Inter.
Camano stated: “I can say that he is happy in Italy and he really likes Italian football. We have been discussing the renewal with Inter for some time now and I am really confident that the path we have taken is the right one. Serie A is an important and different championship compared to that of a few years ago.
“Lautaro is very happy to play with high quality players such as Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa. All three are terrible strikers for opposing defenses.”
Martinez has been in impressive form this season for the Nerazzurri, scoring five times in six games in Serie A. He’s also featured regularly for them in the Champions League.
