Milan and Inter set to get San Siro boost by 2021 end

Both Milan and Inter are set to get a positive boost about the construction of the new stadium by the end of 2021.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that with Giuseppe Sala now the new mayor of the city of Milan, both the clubs of the city expect a green light for the new stadium to arrive by the end of the year. Sala also talked about the stadium recently, confirming that representatives of the clubs have already contacted him.

The next step will involve a meeting between Sala and the representatives of the two clubs. Following that, an approval from the city council will have to arrive and there seems a confidence regarding the same. The pandemic has hit the finances of the two clubs hard and they need the extra revenues that the new stadium will provide them.
