Juventus’ contract extension for Dybala taking longer than expected

Juventus’ attempts to hand Paulo Dybala a new contract are said to be taking much longer than what was originally expected.

Corriere dello Sport have stated recently that it is tough to predict when the next meeting for the new deal will happen and Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun wants to return home to Argentina, having been in Turin since July. He had hoped that the contract negotiations would not last this long.

Instead, after the recent talks with Federico Cherubini and Maurizio Arrivabene, no new meeting was scheduled. The parties haven’t met each other yet and there remains some distance between the two parties.
