Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt has talked about criticism against him, following the Bianconeri’s 3-2 win over Spezia.
De Ligt had scored Juve’s crucial winner away from home, as Spezia had found themselves 2-1 up even though the Bianconeri had taken the lead through Moise Kean. Federico Chiesa equalised for the Old Lady before De Ligt made it 3-2.
The Dutchman talked to DAZN about the game but he was asked about criticism for him in recent days. He stated: “The criticisms for me? I always need to improve, it is normal to receive criticism. I’ve had so many, it’s not important to me. I just have to work to improve.”
This was Juve’s first win of the campaign and it lifted them out of the relegation zone. But they are yet to keep a clean sheet in Serie A.
