Lazio star Joaquin Correa is expected to keep Everton waiting, when it comes to making a decision regarding his future this summer.
This comes from La Repubblica today, who claim that contact between Correa’s agent Alessandro Lucci and Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio did take place on Thursday. But elsewhere, Everton have also accelerated their attempts for the Argentine.
The Toffees are willing to offer €30 million plus bonuses to Lazio for the player, but the ex-Sevilla man only wants to join Inter. Everton are offering him a four-year deal worth €5 million a season too and it’s a figure which could make the difference.
Since Correa has the desire to join Inter only, he’s taking his time regarding a decision about Everton. He’ll first assess what Inter are doing with Marcus Thuram before communicating his desire to the Toffees.
