Former Inter president Massimo Moratti, who had Jose Mourinho working under him at the nerazzurri, has claimed that while the Portuguese will want to win the Scudetto, he won’t talk about it openly.
Moratti was talking to Il Messaggero recently and he was asked about Mourinho and whether he can look to win the league with Roma.
He stated: “He is happy and charged, he tackles everything with great professionalism. He builds enthusiasm. He won’t talk about the Scudetto. He knows it’s complicated but not impossible. He wants to believe it and he believes it. I don’t see him fighting for third-fourth place.”
Roma have won both of their first two Serie A games, beating Fiorentina and Salernitana.
