Milan in advanced talks for Theo Hernandez deal despite Man City and PSG interest

Serie A giants Milan are now in advanced talks to hand Theo Hernandez a new deal, evading interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

This comes from Daniele Longo, who has reported that contacts between the two parties have now intensified and the Rossoneri are trying to extend Theo’s deal till the summer of 2026. There is said to be quite a bit of optimism on both sides that a deal will be done.

Milan had put Hernandez’s contract at the top of the list of priorities because Man City and PSG had been prowling around.

Theo currently receives a salary of about €1.5 million euros plus bonuses per season, which is a low figure considering his performances in the last two seasons. Milan are aware of this and have every intention of recognising the need for a substantial adjustment.

The first proposal is of around €3 million plus bonuses but an additional effort will be needed and they would need to pay around €4 million plus bonuses to reach the finish line.
