Milan’s Castillejo set for January exit

Milan’s Samu Castillejo could be set for an exit from the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window.

Daniele Longo has reported that while Castillejo received an offer from Hertha Berlin quite late in the transfer market but the move didn’t go through because the German club wanted quite a lot of discount on the fee and salary. There was no time left to negotiate and the deal fell through.

Getafe came up as an option but there was confusion surrounding the agents and the move never materialised. Real Sociedad were close to signing him but the final details couldn’t be ironed out.

Castillejo is an exemplary professional and he will give his all till January, when he’s highly likely to leave the club.
