New Kessie contract now ‘uphill’ task for Milan, as PSG ready to meet demand

Milan’s task of handing Franck Kessie a new deal is increasingly becoming ‘uphill’ and despite previous assurances from his entourage, things are not going in the right direction.

This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport today (via MilanNews), who claim that the Rossoneri have offered €6.5 million per season in their contract offer but the player wants a guaranteed sum of €8 million in the new deal. The report adds now that PSG are willing to meet that €8 million per season demand too.

The Parisiens are willing to offer bonuses of €2 million as well and this is complicating the situation further for the Rossoneri. The situation now seems to be heading in the opposite direction as compared to what his agent talked about during the Olympics, giving everyone confidence that the player will renew.
