PIF ready to offer €1 billion to buy Inter

New Newcastle United owners Public Investment Fund are reportedly ready to offer €1 billion in an attempt to buy Inter from the Zhang family.

This comes from today’s edition of Libero, who claim that talks between the Zhang family and PIF first took place last year but the Chinese group were not looking to sell the Nerazzurri back then. But things are changing now and PIF are ready to offer €1 billion to the indebted family.

The report claims that the acceleration has arrived in the last few weeks only and after the failure of the European Super League, the Zhang family seems open for a sale.

The PIF are looking to clean Saudi Arabia’s public image through football and they’re looking to create a network across the game. They now want to buy Inter, Marseille and another club in Brazil.
