Police intervene after McKennie holds party with Juventus teammates under curfew

Various outlets in Italy including Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie held a party last night with over 20 guests, including teammates Paulo Dybala and Arthur, breaking Covid-19 restrictions currently in place in Italy.

The gathering was eventually ended when police arrived and fined around ten of the guests who had stayed on, with other Bianconeri players also present earlier in the evening along with their families. The authorities arrived after a call from the neighbours over the noise being made by the Bianconeri players.

La Stampa add that Juventus are expected to impose sanctions on the players involved.

Italy currently has a curfew in place from 10pm to 5am, with additional restrictions set to come into effect over Easter.
