PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma on Milan: “I hope there is no problem.”

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has talked about returning to San Siro with the Italian national team later this week, claiming that he hopes that there are no problems at the stadium.

Donnarumma left Milan this past summer and joined PSG on a free transfer. So far, his game time at the Parisien club has been limited and there have been rumours about the Italian looking at a potential exit already.

Donnarumma spoke at the press conference ahead of Italy’s Nations League semi-final against Spain. He spoke about the return to the San Siro and his relationship with Paolo Maldini.

He stated: “I’m excited, Milan and AC Milan are an important part of my life. I’m excited, I hope there is no problem.”

On his relationship with Maldini, Donnarumma stated: “There is no problem with Paolo, I complimented him last night as well. I am pleased to meet my teammates again, I will talk quietly with him, joking, and then there are no problems. We are adults.”
