Roma agree personal terms with Gladbach midfielder

Serie A side Roma have agreed personal terms with Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.

This comes from Corriere dello Sport, who claim that Roma have made progress in a move for Zakaria in the last few days and talks are ongoing between the two clubs involved. Next week could be decisive in a potential bid, as Roma want to sign the Swiss midfielder for less than €20 million.

Zakaria has an agreement on personal terms already and he’ll earn €2 million plus bonuses on a four-year deal. It is stated that Tiago Pinto is keen to give Jose Mourinho a midfielder to work with, considering that Amadou Diawara is for sale as his traits aren’t liked by Mourinho.

The ex-Napoli man has rejected all the offers that have come in for him so far – even those that have come from the Premier League.
