Roma boss Mourinho after Inter loss: “In these conditions, Inter are stronger than us.”

Roma boss Jose Mourinho has stated that Inter are stronger than the Giallorossi, especially when the Roman side are dealing with injuries and suspensions.

Roma conceded three goals in the first half and they lost the game 3-0, as goals from Hakan Calhanoglu, Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries saw Mourinho’s win pick up a second consecutive loss.

Mourinho spoke to DAZN after the game and stated: “Inter are stronger than us in normal conditions, in these conditions they are much stronger than us. Today, between Covid, injuries and suspended players, we were a very limited team.

“Our attacking potential was practically nil, we had three chances and we didn’t score. When you play with a new defensive organisation you can’t concede goals like the first and third ones. Well the referee, we are the most undisciplined team in Serie A and only Cristante was missing a yellow card.”

Roma could yet slip below fifth in the league by the end of the game week, depending on results involving Fiorentina, Juventus and Bologna.
