Roma are close to sealing a move for Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the January transfer window.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Giallorossi have edged close to signing the Englishman, who spent the previous season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
The player will arrive on an initial loan deal but Roma will have the option to buy him permanently later. In-depth contact has taken place in the last few hours between the two clubs and they’re trying to close the deal now. Clubs are now defining the last few terms of the loan deal.
