Roma yet to reach agreement for new Lorenzo Pellegrini contract

Roma have now failed to reach an agreement with Lorenzo Pellegrini regarding a new contract for the midfielder.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that a new meeting took place today involving Pellegrini’s entourage and the Giallorossi. While the aim was to understand a potential basis for a future extension, no agreement has been reached yet – much like the previous meeting last month.

The relations between the parties remain cordial regardless, with the player’s contract expiring next summer and his current deal has a release clause. During the meeting, contracts for Nicola Zalewski and Riccardo Ciervo were also discussed.
