Torino want release clause in new Andrea Belotti contract, figures being discussed

Serie A side Torino want to add a release clause to Andrea Belotti’s new contract but there is some distance between the two parties regarding the same.

Journalist Gianluca di Marzio has given an update about the situation of Belotti, claiming that handing him a new deal remains a priority for Il Toro and negotiations have been ongoing for a while now.

The issue surrounding the salary of €3.3 million has been resolved, but parties are now working to add a release clause to the Italian’s deal. His previous contract had a clause of €100 million, which helped Torino keep the player but this time around, Belotti wants the clause to stand at €20 – €25 million.

Torino want it to stand at €40 million, so that they get enough money from the sale. Work is being done in this department now.
