Agent confirms Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was rejected by top clubs

Previously linked with a move to Liverpool, Manchester United, and even Real Madrid, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has emerged as one of the latest sensations in Serie A.

According to Kvaratskhelia’s agent Christian Emile, the Georgian was offered to a plethora of top clubs in the summer transfer window of 2022. And despite him being available in the market for a reasonable price, none of the interested parties came forward to secure a transfer for the 21-year-old.

Emile believes that the top clubs did not trust the youngster, who has made a brilliant start to a new chapter at Napoli. While giving an interview to Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, the agent of Georgia International said:

“I offered Kvaratskhelia to many top clubs. They said no. They didn’t trust a Georgian guy, they missed on scouting.”

Since joining the Serie A club, Kvaratskhelia has maintained an awe-inspiring consistency, having amassed eight goals and ten assists from 16 appearances in all competitions. There are rumours that the European heavyweights have now started closely monitoring the youngster, but the pacey attacker, often compared with Diego Maradona, is bound to Napoli’s contract until June 2027.
