Arsenal and Monaco stars eyed as potential Matthijs de Ligt replacements by Juventus

Juventus’ shortlist for potential replacements for Matthijs de Ligt includes Arsenal’s Gabriel and Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile.

The Bianconeri have been talking to Chelsea to potentially sell De Ligt, with the Blues looking to offer cash and Timo Werner in a potential deal for the Dutchman.

Giovanni Albanese has reported that Manchester City and Manchester United are also in the running for the defender but Juve have a list of potential replacements in mind for the player. One happens to be Gabriel, who has been monitored rather keenly by the Old Lady in recent months.

Gabriel is valued at around €40 million and Juve have evaluated a deal involving Arthur recently for the Brazilian defender. The doubts that Juve have about him centre around his lack of experience in the Champions League.

Another name is Monaco’s Badiashile, who is valued at 30 million but Juve have kept tabs on him for a while now. Other names include Kalidou Koulibaly, Manuel Akanji and Nikola Milenkovic.
