Juventus have been offered the chance to sign Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira this summer.
Torreira had spent the previous season on loan at Fiorentina and he had impressed a lot during that spell. Despite Fiorentina’s attempts to sign him permanently, Torreira went back to Arsenal.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Torreira wants to stay in Italy and he is hoping for good news to arrive soon. Juve have been dealing with the agent of the Uruguayan in their move for Andrea Cambiaso, as Torreira’s agent Pablo Bentancur represents Radu Dragusin. There is a possibility of the defender going to Genoa in the move for Cambiaso.
A chance to sign Torreira has arisen because of Bentancur’s talks but as things stand, Leandro Paredes remains the favourite to be the club’s choice to be the next regular defensive midfielder as he too has the experience of playing in Serie A from his time at Roma.
