Arsenal offer €35m for Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca amid Inter’s uncertainty

Gianluca Scamacca has discovered the names of his suitors in the transfer market, with Arsenal emerging as a keen contender in a potential transfer pursuit.

According to journalist Daniele Longo, Arsenal have offered a figure of around €35million for the permanent services of the Gianluca Scamacca. However, it is understood that Giovanni Carnevali doesn’t intend to accept the offer as the proposal lacks the requisite conviction.

In simpler words, Sassuolo are not convinced with the Gunners’ latest valuation of the player. Consequently, they are reportedly demanding a figure of €40million (excluding bonuses) to sell the striker.

Other than Arsenal, Inter are also interested in signing the 23-year-old. It is claimed that Inter have already agreed to a personal contract with the entourage of the player.

Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri are unable to push forward with their interest before understanding the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala. Both Lukaku and Dybala have been linked with a move to Inter this summer. Should Inter manage to catch those big fishes, they would like to drop their ambition to land Scamacca in the summer.

The player had a stellar season for Sassuolo in the 2021/22 campaign, with the sharpshooter scoring 16 goals from 36 appearances in Serie A. Meanwhile, the Neroverdi extended Scamacca’s contract until June 2026 last April to protect the player’s valuation amid the approaching summer transfer market.
