Atalanta’s Robin Gosens is pushing for a move to Newcastle United in January.
Sky Italia claim that Gosens already has an agreement on personal terms with Newcastle and he will earn €3.5 million per season across the next three and a half years.
Newcastle are ready to present an official offer to Atalanta after having made contact for the player in the last few days. The Magpies are now expected to make one last offer to sign the player before the January transfer window slams shut in less than a week.
Gosens’ recovery period for his muscle injury has increased though and instead of being out for three months, his injury is now expected to last till five months. And for now, it is not clear as to when he would return to action for La Dea or for Newcastle.
He sustained the injury against Young Boys in the Champions League and then suffered a replase some weeks later.
