Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has an interest in joining Aston Villa, who had a senior scout present during the Bianconeri’s game against Milan.
Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti has reported that a senior scout from Villa was present at the club involving Milan and Juventus. The player likes the idea of playing for Villa quite a lot and Steven Gerrard has identified the Uruguayan as the ideal option for the midfield.
At the moment, no offers have come in from Villa and the idea is still in an embryonic stage. As things stand, Bentancur is happy at Juve and isn’t looking to move.
It is stated that when Juve initially signed him from Boca Juniors, the club had a 50 percent sell-on clause but that has now reduced to 35 percent.
