One of the eye-catching wing-backs in Serie A last season, Nahuel Molina appears to be closing in on his coveted move to Atletico Madrid.
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Atletico Madrid are close to completing a deal for Nahuel Molina. The full-back is reportedly eager to join Diego Simeone’s side this summer.
He will leave Udinese after a two-year stay at the Italian club. Signed from Boca Juniors in 2020, the Agentina international has made 68 appearances for the Serie A clubs across all competitions. Over this period, he has also racked up ten goals and ten assists.
He had an excellent 2021/22 season, where the 24-year-old amassed eight goals and five assists in all competitions for the Udine-based side. Atleti have decided to include Nehuen Perez in a potential transfer for Molina, meaning it will be a player-plus-cash deal to sign Molina from Udinese.
Perez was on loan at the Friulian club last campaign. He made 20 appearances for the Italian side. This time, the 22-year-old defender will join Udinese on a permanent term.
